Work-Time Utility
Time Card Calculator
Calculate daily and weekly paid hours from clock-in, clock-out, and unpaid breaks.
Weekly time card
Method
Each completed row is converted to minutes after midnight. An end time earlier than the start is treated as an overnight shift. Unpaid break minutes are subtracted, and the daily paid minutes are summed for the weekly total.
Worked example
Five shifts from 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break equal 7.5 paid hours per day and 37.5 paid hours for the week.
Privacy
All time-card values are processed locally in the browser.
Limitations
This is schedule arithmetic only. It does not determine overtime eligibility, payroll rounding, paid-break law, wage law, or employer-specific policy.
Common questions
Can a shift cross midnight?
Yes. If the end clock time is earlier than the start time, the calculator treats it as ending the following day.
