Discount Calculator
Calculate savings, sale price, and a quantity total from an original price and percentage discount.
Calculate a discount
Formula
Savings per item = original price × discount ÷ 100.
Sale price = original price − savings.
Quantity total = sale price × quantity.
Worked example
An 80 original price with a 25% discount saves 20 per item and produces a sale price of 60. For two items, the discounted total is 120.
Limitations
This calculator does not apply sales tax, shipping, minimum-purchase rules, coupon exclusions, stacked discounts, membership pricing, or merchant-specific promotion terms. Include those separately when they matter.
Privacy
The calculation runs locally in the browser.
Common questions
Can I enter 100%?
Yes. A 100% discount produces a sale price of zero.
Does quantity change the discount percentage?
No. Quantity multiplies the already-discounted per-item price.
