Writing & Text Utility
Reverse Text
Reverse text by Unicode code point without sending the text to a server.
Reverse text
Method
The tool converts the JavaScript string into an array of Unicode code points with Array.from, reverses that array, and joins it back into a string. This handles supplementary Unicode characters more safely than reversing UTF-16 code units one at a time.
Worked example
Input: Practical Tools
Output: slooT lacitcarP
What reversal does and does not mean
Reversing text changes character order only. It does not translate language, mirror glyph shapes, reverse paragraph direction metadata, or make the result linguistically meaningful. It can still be useful for testing text transformations, puzzles, demonstrations, or quick formatting experiments.
Privacy
The text is processed locally in the browser. No account or upload is required.
Limitations
The algorithm reverses Unicode code points, not user-perceived grapheme clusters. Emoji joined with zero-width joiners, letters followed by combining marks, and some complex-script sequences can display unexpectedly after reversal.
